Since there we've started to see people using avatars that were way too big, I made a couple of changes to how the forum handles avatars. First off, the option of direct linking to pictures from other sites has been turned off. Second, users must now use the upload avatar function in their profile settings which can read it from your local disk or from another site. The limits are rather generous being:

Max resolution: 150 x 150
Max size: 30k

This should also help people who were having trouble finding easy hosting for their avatars.

i don't want a still picture of still racoon balls!, they gotta be flopping back and forth. and some little japanese kid in a red hood has to be acting all suprised....it's the only way. :oops:
