Very nice pics! woot

Naval SOF pics are my favorite!

How does the SPAS-15 perform over-the-beach? I've alway thought pump-action was favored because semi-auto shotguns are too dirt-sensitive.
I own a Benelli M1 (sport version, for waterfowl hunting) and it jams from time to time unless kept whistle-clean (which can be kinda hard in the late fall mud), so I guess it'd be even worse in the surf zone.

Just a thought.

Arn't some of those pics COM.SUB.IN troops? And the last one look slike Brazilian Army Special Forces. Also one quick question, the unit been expanded (Amphibious Exploration Platoon)? I thought it was only platoon size

Do the Italians use American-made M249's? They look identical to our SAWs.

Do the Italians use American-made M249's? They look identical to our SAWs.... and the American M249s looks identical to the Belgian FN Minimi? Strange isn't it? ;)

Well no. Different foregrip and stock, no? I haven't seen that stock/foregrip used by anyone except the US, so that's why I'm asking.

Well no. Different foregrip and stock, no? I haven't seen that stock/foregrip used by anyone except the US, so that's why I'm asking. This is FN Herstal Minimi - check not the stock or a foregrip (right - this one, on that picture, is from US version), but cone-shaped flash hider (it's not a US design, and not the standard used in M249's).

Okay, gotcha. :) I knew the M249 was a variant of the Minimi, but as I said, I had never seen the solid stock and heatshield on any of them except American ones.

No, the last one is not Brazilian special forces.

I'm talking about the pic with the guys in the "lizard" camo, brown boots and Brazilian flag on their uniforms. If I remember correctly, it's a pic of their Army SF battalion's CT Det. during training.
