Earlier this November for school, I had to read this BS book called the "Tale of two cities". The thing must have fricking been written by Satan himslef because this damn thing has got me stumped. It has taken me nearly two months to even get through half of this thing, and it's getting annoying. Since I've completely killed my grade not finishing it on time, I have to do three research projects over Chrstmas break to get caught up. One of them is a graph and report showing increases or decreases in military spending; the overall size of the military; and active duty and reserve duty divisions/air squadrons/etc. It has to be turned in two weeks from now. So far, I've got nothing. If you guys could point me in atleast a general direction of where I could find this info, it would be greatly apreciated. Don't get me wrong! I've been searching for this stuff all morning. I've still got nothing. :(

check the CIA Factsheets pages too. They have some vague numbers to compare different countries to.
globalsecurity.org is a good source
you may not get much you can simply cut and paste.. just look at the info and put your own charts toghether.
