Problem with Personal messages

I got this email today:

Remember that you can always choose not to be notified of new messages by changing the appropriate setting in your profile.

But when I log in to MP.net it says "You have no new messages" :( Where's the problem? Anybody can help me please? :(

No ... the message didn't come at all :(

I believe that the sender can delete a PM after it's been sent so long as the recipient hasn't opened it, in which case the email would have been sent before the PM was deleted.
