Originally Colt did but never had any success on it. I always felt that a design like that would be too fragile to use as an LMG.

Saw the Dutch Marines in Iraq ( btw have they goten over the food poisoning yet?)

They looked very professional. Only thing we worried about was them being mistaken for americans by the locals due to the 3 colour cammo kit fritz helmets and C7a1's but thankfully nothing appeared to happen.

Excellent pics though has the FN P90 replaced the MP5?

Yeah the BBE is still using some MP5's. But they also use the P90. But other units in the Dutch Military only use the P90 (CT team of the Korps Commandotroepen)

Are they using both U.S. Woodland and British DPM camo?
The Marines are the only one that use the U.S. Woodland camo (since a couple of years) All other units use the DPM.
This are the camo's that the Dutch use.

This isn't true, the dutch marines uses both of them.
You wil see on the third picture that is posted, the assaultvest in DPM camo and the rest that he's wearing in U.S. Woodland camo.

this is also clearly visible at the fifth picture, but in this picture he's got a U.S. Woodland camo pants and the rest in DPM camo.

Why are the Marines still using the Diemaco LSW's? Since other units already have the Minimi...

does someone know why there are so many Spes ops who comes to Norway to train exstrem winther survival and learn to ski ???

all I know is that bouth the U.S Navy Seals trains here and the British SAS or SBS are here sometimes to train with our Spes ops, and know these guys to !?!?!
(here is an topic with some british troops: http://www.militaryphotos.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=6715&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=20)

1)I would realy like to know wich Spes ops who trains here.

2)and, why don't the Navy Seals train in Canada (or Alaska), now they have to cross the atlantic sea to go skiing.....

3)and last, what is the name of this training ?

EDIT:
I have seen on TV the British SAS on training i Northen Norway, and they did exsactly the same as these guys.
the pic of where they stand after that truck on skis is to learn some of them to ski (yes some didn't know who to ski)
the pic of where they is down in that wather hole is to train for fast cooling down (?)

(don't worry about my english...I just woke(?) up)

Probably because:

-40 Celsius and 2 meters of snow is quite uncommon in large parts of Europe.
Very few people live in Northern-Norway, large areas are aviable for training without interference from local population.
Good infrastructure, several airports, large militarybases
Allied NATO-country.

For historical reasons, allied training close to the russian border is not allowed.
