I got a new set of Army PT clothes (the long pants/jacket)...I think my parents didn't like the idea of me running around 29 degree weather in shorts and a sleeveless shirt.

My girl got me a Ricky Williams jersey and a hemp necklace that she made...I haven't told her yet but the jersey is too small! I need at least a Large honey. ;)

Hmm...oh and a Wal-Mart gift card thing. A new boombox...

I didn't ask for anything so I'm content, :D .

I got pretty much everything I had hoped to receive, so far:

-The book "Paradise lost" by John Milton

-Another water canteen pouch for my LC2's

-A new Scanner/printer- thingie

-Book "Divine comedy" by Dante

-A new CD-rom drive

-additional German army Flecktarn camouflage trousers (pants?)

Among some stuff, I got my parents several former Iraqi bank notes with Saddam's picture in them, they were quite "surprised" to say the least...

And the notes were damn cheap and completely new.

I got a paintball marker and a book, Gardner's Photographic Sketchbook of the American Civil War, which is pretty cool. Plus when I go to Vermont next week I may haunt a few old gun shops. I've got my eye on an old Savage model 99 in .243.

My kids (with a little help from my mom) got me a Zoppini charm bracelet. I really like it a lot. I got a few things from in-laws as well. The best part about their present was that they gave me some cash, and they always make me promise not to pay bills with it, so I think I'm going to buy a digital camera. I've been wanting one, but I haven't felt like I could justify spending the money on something that I don't really need.
We haven't had Christmas with my mom yet, so I'm not sure what else I'll be getting.
The best part of Christmas for me is the giving. I absolutely love watching people open the presents that I buy for them. My kids seemed to be very pleased, and that makes me happy. :D

Yay, I thought I was the only one...I dunno, there's just something special about watching a friend or loved one open your present and smile.

Isn't that the absolute best? There is nothing I love more than paying attention to comments that my friends and family make in passing throughout the year, and then coming up with that perfect gift several months later. It makes my day!
The worst part is having that perfect gift and having to wait to give it!!!! :D

you can't go wrong with monty python. Sheer genius.

Anyway here are some jokes for y'all(i got a new accent for christmas)

Where's Michael Jackson going on holiday?
He's off to Tampa with the kids.

What did the woman on the beach say to Michael?
"Excuse me, but you're in my son"

How do kids at Neverland know when it's bedtime?
When the big hand touches the little hand.

What does Jacko have in common with a Big Mac?
They're both old meat between young buns

What does Michael hand round after dinner?
The under-eights

What does Jackson have in common with whisky?
They both come in small tots

Good to see Jacko dangling his kid off the balcony.
Usually he just tosses them off.

What do Michael and Wal-mart have in common?
They both have boys briefs half-off

Jacko's wife has just given birth to a baby boy.
"How long before we Start having ***?" asks Michael.
Doctor: "I'd wait until he's at least 14"

Micheal Jackson was asked:
"What's the best thing about 28 year olds?"

He replied: "There's 20 of them!"

How do you know its bedtime at neverland ranch?
When the big hand touches the little hand.

The police confiscated all Jacko's violins he bought in 1990 as he shouldn't be fiddling with 13 year olds...

When the police raided his house they found class A drugs in the kitchen Class B drugs in the bathroom and Class 4C in teh bedroom!!
Why does micheal jackson put cheese in his mouth?
Because kids will do anything for dairy lea.

Anyway for Christmas i got:
socks
cash
cash in socks
books
bits and bobs
not that anybody is really that interested

We don't really celebrate it that big here...We got a tree and all, and we stuff our stomachs in the name of peace, but the whole present thing is done at 5 december with Sinterklaas.

Chris O`Crooh
12-26-2003, 10:44 AM
Huh... Swiety Mikolaj (Santa Claus) comes to nice children on Dec. 6, and we also celebrate Christmas Eve; we gifts and presents delivered by an Angel (although that name changes in some parts of Poland), so we usually get presents twice in Dec. This X-mas habit is called "Gwiazdka" ("Little Star").

The best about that is my birthday... 9 days after St. Claus, and 9 days before Gwiazdka...

I love December ;-)))
