Well, I went to all the trouble to take pics of my Glock, so I thought what the hell I'll just post them. Do with this what you will...

I have a Glock 23 its a really nice gun, I got over the 22 beacuse of its compact size and I bought 2 hi-cap mags for it.

The Glock23 is a great pistol. As a matter of fact, I have one sitting on my hip as I type this. :D I also have a Glock35, but the 23 is my daily carry piece. I never leave home without it.

Ditto the 23 over the 22 for the compact goodness. I also have the 13rd mags.

My Glock 23, which I carry in a Milt Sparks VM-II goes with me everytime I leave the house. You just can't beat 14 rounds of .40(Speer Gold Dots) in such a small, sweet and sexy package.

My 23 doesn't like the Golddots, shoots them way low and left. It loves hydrashoks though.

IMO they should use metal mags and redesign the ****ty grip.

Look into KAHR ARMS, then.

As long as the mags feed, I'm not sure why it matters really. The entire lower assembly is plastic, so why not the outside of the mag? And I like the grip OK, I mean it's not custom made for my hand or anything, but it's comfortable and I have no trouble holding it.

Try a Springfield Armory XD-series if you want a different grip and metal mags. I've a a Springfield Armory XD40 Tactical and a Glock 23, and I love both of them. The 23 for carry and the XD for fun. But the whole XD line is awesome.

And what exactly do you base your "opinion" on? What kind of experience do you have with Glocks?

I love the grip on the 3rd gen 23. It fits my hand perfectly. Actually, it gives me a better grip more than any other of my pistols.

I just guess it is a matter of personal preference.

My dad has a 23. It's a great shooting pistol. I went with a Sig Sauer myself. Would've gone for the Glock but just had a heck of time manipulating the slide release and mag release controls with my left pointer finger. I'm a lefty so I do it that way. Great pistol, hope it brings you lot's of enjoyment.

I've used the G22 many of times and I dont have too many gripes about the grip on it but it just doesnt suit me. I dont even want to talk about the G21. It also doesnt say much that if you shoot enough that you get the "Glock Knuckle"

Most people just buy whatever they feel like and not worry about how the pistol works for them. The grip doesnt work for me.

If I ever bought any Glocks I would send it straight to Robar.

I just bought a G22. Should be here within a week. Should be fun even with all the dumb stuff we have to go through in Canada to get a pistol.

I really like the Glock platform. I’ve actually just recently sold my Glock 26 and bought the Glock 23 and 27. I absolutely love the Glock 19. My duty weapon is also a Glock. Congrats and take care of her.
