What is that OIWC looking weapon?35mm/5,56mm GIAT PAPOP (PolyArme POlyProjectile) assault rifle-grenade launcher.

...there is also second version of such weapon, 35mm/5,56mm PAPOP 2:

And the 35mm grenade:

I must admit I don't know what this mock-up (I don't think it a real gun) is...

...but I think it some kind of launcher, develop version of Samurai:

Somehow I'd think that moving around with that thing is quite hard, of course it won't be the final version we're seeing here.

I don't know in what phase the development is but I guess it's going to stay like it is...

Also the FELIN system looks funny. But if it works... :D

If that turns out to be true, PAPOP will be a bitch to handle, I'd think.

PAPOP 2 seems to be a little bit more slim than the first version, however the bulkier those things get the more problematic it is going to be on trying to move around in the battlefield and on combat situations...

Those things could be real lethal to the soldiers if engaged in CQB; also clearing small spaces might turn out to be a bit hard in my opinion.

I hope they'd update that thing a bit more before the final release, since if this thing might actually knock out the FAMAS as the main assault rifle of the French forces making it as compact should be the primary concern.
