Great pics man... That bottom hatch... Usually there should be a cargo hook right there... You can barely squeeze a cat through that hatch if the hook is in... Esp at 2000ft. then the cat really doesn't wanna go.

Anyway, you can just hook up on the tail, and fast rope from there... Or use the winch for a safe and comfy ride to your destination, though at about 50ft per minute or so.

And the rest have to wait for you to be down, unhooked and the winch to come back up. :lol:

I can see the advantage of roping down from that hatch, the cargo hook is at the center of gravity, meaning that the helo remains relatively still even if you jump and grab hold of that rope halfway down.

fast roping is a really fun cse. to do but i know atleast over here its hard to do unless your unit is running it.

recon teams and QRF teams normally do them before deployment.

if any of you get the chance do it, its a real buzz
