I have seen more and more of the Marines wearing MARPAT. I have seen many headcovers with MARPAT, but the chem suits are still old woodland. I am sure if they have the MARPAT pot cover they are wearing MARPAT under the chem suits.

On the Interceptor vest, is that a Coyote Brown cover or does the vest come in Coyote Brown?

My guess is that it's a cover. Would definitely be cheaper to issue new covers rather than new vests.

Do you know if the civilian population can buy them? The cover that is.

First of all I would like to get my hands on desert marpart :P ...I know that's the multimillion dollar question... strangely no company has come up with a decent stock of these new bdu's. even imported ones. There is a UK store (forgot the name) that has all three colors but unfortunately they ran out of the Jackets... and no Helmet covers yet :cry: as least as far as I know.

If you live near a Navy/Marine Corps base, then go to a nearby thrift or surplus store. They usually carry them. For the next two years digital is optional.
