Three brothers simultaneously arrested

Police took three brothers into custody, two on murder charges and one on ****** assault charges.
When Tampa police arrested a local man on ****** assault charges Tuesday, they discovered his two brothers were wanted for murder.

All three men were taken into custody.

Police arrested Roberto Jimenez, 37, for the ****** battery of his girlfriend's 12-year-old daughter. His two younger brothers, who were wanted for a murder in Philadelphia.

If I remember my FL statutes correctly, *** batt on a 12-yr old is a capital offense. I'd like to see if the Hillsborough State's Attorney office asks for it.

****** Battery- Chapter 794: This section of the Florida Statutes contains the laws prohibiting the ****** battery of both adults and children. ****** battery is defined as the oral, ******l or anal penetration by or union with the ****** organ of another. Consent is a defense to ****** battery unless the victim is less than 12 years of age or less than 18 years of age when the offender stands in a position of familial or custodial authority. It should be noted that ****** battery upon a child less than 12 years of age is a capital felony with a mandatory life sentence.

Arrest Here Reverberates In Northeast


TAMPA - Philadelphia police Detective John Harkins rolled up to a house in that city about 6 a.m. Tuesday, carrying warrants to charge two residents with first-degree murder.

No one was home. The house was empty but for a single television.

A few hours later, as Harkins prepared to turn his case over to a fugitive squad, he got a surprising phone call from Tampa police. They had the two men, Carlos Jimenez and his brother, Edwin.
