Poles on the fronts of WWII? Is it joke? According to the politically correct common knowledge Poles quickly lost in `39 and later collaborated with Germans in Holocaust of Jews (according to the some Australian history lessons in schools Poles murdered 3.000.000 Jews during WWII)...

I dont remember exactly, these lessons were about 8 years ago, of course in Melbourne, biggest jewish city in southern hemisphere. Source... hmm, I think letter from Australia to the Polish press in USA.
(According to this info Polish childrens were attacked after these lessons).

Okay, I just so happen to live in Melbourne. And was in secondary school just a little before the time frame you give. Having done modern history in Yr11, I didn't get a single anti-Polish impression - nor did I see any references to three millon Jews murdered by Poles.
I'd say that the letter is a little off.

Lokos, OK, may it was local incident. But please pay attention on the fact that something like jewish aggresive antipolonism really exist and all this anipolonistic propaganda (may be not only anitipolonism, sometimes aniti-Slavic generally including your nation - Serbs, and allways antichristianism).

It's not as if Slavic nations haven't sent plenty of hate at the Jews over the centuries.
But I haven't experienced any real animosity from them as a result thereof. And I know many Jewish Australians.
Perhaps these lessons were taught at one of the several private Jewish secondary education institutions in Melbourne? If that is the case, I would not know either way.

Well I'm not even gonna start arguing about some single anti-Polish incident (although I happen to read about similar "history lessons" in some private Jewish schools in USA).
The facts on the site speak for themselves.

Not Slavic nations generally. Only Russians and Ukrainians. Only. Most Slavic countries like Poland, Tchech, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia were asylum for Jews pressed in european western and southern countries (remember all these great Jewish expulsions from Hispany, England, France, Italy and Germany). Ukrainians are authors of most cruel massacres on the Jews in history, unfortunately in previous Polish territories. But Ukrainians not Poles. Ukrainians murdered Poles and Jews with same pleasure, from the XVII kazak revolts to the 1943 Volhynia Slaughter by ukrainian UPA bandits. They had a maxim: "Lach, Jevrey, sobaka - vse vira odnaka" (Pole, Jew and dog - one religion) and they used most cruel tortures on polish/jewish men, women and babies, most cruel in whole world history. I know something about cruel massacres of Serb people by Croatian Ustashes... it was horrible. But believe me, nothing was more cruel than Volhynia massacre...
And now some Jews talks something that these old historical massacres on Polish territories (f,g massacres during Hmelnicky revolt, Human massacre etc) was done by Poles!!!!!!!! Not by Ukrainians!!!!!!
So dont blame all Slavic! Blame Russians and Ukrainians, not other.

Well, I know for a fact that the Croats massacred many Jews, as did the Bosnian Nazi collaborators in WW2.
Anti-semitism was alive and well in Poland throughout the shared history of the Jewish/Polish peoples, although it probably did not erupt in blood baths at any point in history.
I'm not really *blaming* Slavic nations. We're talking about something that happened many years ago. I'm just saying that there is a reason why some Jews may not like certain Slavic nationalities.

Lokos, let stop this discussion, my english is too bad to good explanation of some historical facts. As about "anti-semitism in Poland" check true historical records... If such antisemitism was in Poland why Poland was centrum of Jewish life and culture in Europe from XiV century to 1939? Why 50% of all european Jews was in Poland? Why all askenazi culture, philosophie and customs born and grow in Poland? Why first newspapers and first cinemamovies made strictly in jidish language was in Poland before WWII, not in Hollywood?
Lern history, true history, not politically correct mass propaganda.

The Poles fought in the Western Desert, and in Italy, they also flew with the RAF and they fought very bravely and those that wish to take the rise out of them should stand back and think again.

But we love to talk about Jews and Poles... What Jews always forget is context on the stuation so they have view on Poland very skewed.. thats all my input about the Jews and Poles....
As for POles in fronts of wwII: we vere almost anywhere, did our best and did one of the finest job in the war... and when the Kaczynski brothers will be chosed the presidents and prim ministers we can believe that presure on passing that knowledge to tegreater public will be much stronger than now...

The Polish engineers constructed the reversible tank periscope and an anti-aircraft cannon, with tens of thousands of which the British troops were equipped.
Does anyone know something about that cannon? I have now idea what model it was

guys in reality there was some survey among Jews in europe and it occured that Jews in Poland feel moust secure also the biggest Jewish investments are in Poland....

Also we made mine detector, we have broken code of Enigma, we captured parts and plans of V weapon, our destroyer "Piorun" found Bismarck when RN lost her (is ship she in english?) and forced Bismarck to 1 hour artillery battle! the AA gun referred to is the Polsten, a simplified, cheaper but efficient version of the 20mm Oerlikon

Why some Polish guys here want to ban me? I wonder... OK, i hijacked this good topic and made little provocation... But it was from my side only a proposal to all Polish and Jewish guys here for discussion - may be better in new topic - about not fictional Polish historical anti-semitism but about real present Jewish anti-polonism... Later I had some remarks about thing which - according to me - should be for Polish users here an ignition of new discussion: Volhynia Slaughter... Most of Poles here have probably more informations about this and have better English than me, so... OK, it is end from my side - lets to leave Polish matters in Polish hands...

arghhhh, I doubt any of Polish or Jewish users want to discuss about such topics...maybe some extremists...in this forum Poles and Jews are quite friendly to eachother...for example, one of my best buddys from this forum is a Jew...we may have different piont of view at some historical events in our history, but we also know that dicussion about that may lead us into big flame war....so, its sensless mate ;)

well, discussion about Ukrainians and Poles during WW II would be cool, except one fact...there are maybe 1 Ukrainian user with more then 1000 posts here, and maybe 2 or 3 other, who dont participate too often in discussions....so, with who you want to discuss? Ohhh, the only ones who would be glad of this discussion would be Russians :lol:
