Can people please post pictures of all the various formal uniforms of your country and services (non BDUs).
Does anyone know why the USN has multiple formal uniforms? Like the Black coat and trousers, white shirt and white trousers, brown shirt and brown trousers and the black coat with white trousers?

The navy gets off on being different from everybody. this includes but is not limited to speaking english yet using terms that no one outside the navy have a clue about (goatlocker?) inventing new rank titles despite world kinda having agreed upon the whole lt-gen thing. And then we come to uniforms. if your on a boat isolated from the public for half the year why do you need 3 times the uniform designs as the rest of the services?

Most services have multiple dress uniforms. US Army has at least five. They all suck and we'd be better off spending our money on more ammuniton for training and the time wasted on inspections and formal events should be instead utilized for PT instead IMO. But who the f*ck listens to me:
