It has turbine and controlled vents in the tail that act like a tail rotor, it closes one side a bit while opening other side more to direct airflow to the side to make turns or some versions the whole end if it rotates to direct air flow.... It's not that new, it has been around for a 14 years or so.

they have inbuilt air vectoring systems i believe...the idea didnt really take off(mind the pun) but it was a good theory.

How come this copter does not seem to ahve a tail rotor? Is this a special kind of helicopter or something, how does it keep stable without the tailrotor?
