Gitmo Rehashed

Guantanamo Bay frictions have been regurgitated in the media recently, and likely this post is also. I think we all know the cliche arguments by the same old participants. How about some suggestions included with any complaints this time?

My thoughts are to keep Gitmo running but to do a formal Standdown. Maybe instead of putting all the usual suspects into Gitmo, finding other facilities to burden some of the load.

FYI A Standdown is when a military organization sort of does an admin reset. They address problems and issues that are having a negative impact and then start from a new position. This is typically when new policies, personnel changes, and reorginizations happen all at once. I can't say which things should change at Gitmo but, some things could definately improve to help take some of the focus away from there.
