Su22 until 2010 will be gone prabably replaced by F16 and MiG29 in 2015 prabably replaced by F35(*atleast we hope so)

We've bought (not rented) 48 F-16s and the first machines will arrive in Poland in late 2006

Didn't it cost Poland like... a dollar... to buy those jets?
Now there's Polish business acumen for you!
I wouldn't mind getting 40+ modern fighter jets for a buck.
(Or am I completely wrong?)

No, we bought ex-German MiG-29s for one euro :)... but now we have to pay few million euros for vital overhauls for them.
We paid over 3 billion $ for the F-16s

Let's make it clear:
- we bought 12 MiG-29s (including three 2-seat) fighters from the Soviet Union at the end of 80s
- we exchanged 10 W3 Sokół [yeah, sokol in Serbian] helos for 10 MiG-29 with Czech Republic in the 90s
- we bought 22 German MiG-29s for 1 euro each (probably; not as somebody claims here 1 euro for all the fighters) last year.
Pozdrav,
Chris

I afraid there are not any ex-German MiG-29s on these photos.
We did not change German camouflage on ex-German MiGs as well as Czech camo on ex-Czech ones. Just the country markings have been changed.
AFAIK I recognize camos all the MiGs on these photos are Polish from the beginning.

Yes we did, all ex-German MiGs are being repainted in a light gray camo during the overhaul in WZL Bydgoszcz.

Thanks for the correction.
22 Euro for 22 Mig-29s still isn't a bad deal...
Overhauls excluded, of course!

OK, you are right. However I see just the MigG-29s which are Polish from the beginning (from the first batch) in this topic. There are not ex-German planes. Compare the camo (and the numbers on intakes) of the first batch (here) and ex-German MiGs in the topic you provided the link of.
