Great link there :D
I really enjoyed the pics as well as the music, though if they’re going to have that kind of music, I would have preferred some Metallica, but nonetheless it was still worth checking out.
Truly an outstanding year for the U.S. military!!
I wish the IDF (http://www.idf.il/newsite/english/main.stm) site had something like that with all these slideshows and music, but oh well I guess they don’t have the need to recruit young high schoolers to the military ;) :D
P.S. for the Israelis out there that would like the same type of photo slideshow with a cool music background, well your out of luck ;) :P but here is this little flash intro to an Israeli companies website (http://www.helopoint.co.il/)…that will have to do for now :D
Shalom :D

Truly an outstanding year for the U.S. military!!
http://edition.cnn.com/SPECIALS/2003/iraq/forces/casualties/
"There have been 559 confirmed coalition deaths, 478 Americans, 53 Britons, four Bulgarians, one Dane, 17 Italians, two Poles, one Spaniard, two Thai and one Ukrainian, in the war as of December 30, 2003. The casualty list below reflects the names of the soldiers, Marines, airmen and sailors whose families have been notified of their deaths. There also have been 2,696 Americans wounded in the war, according to the Pentagon. This list is updated regularly."

Ok to make it more clearer…………..
Ok it was truly an outstanding year for the U.S. military considering that they have fought successfully in a war and still were also in Afghanistan keeping the peace there.
You naming that casualty figure does not distract from my above statement .....I mean if that was the sole barometer of what’s a outstanding year, then I guess the year 2000 for example was a outstanding year for the U.S. military for the casualty rate that year was probably less then 50, though the U.S. didn’t fight in any wars but hey that’s not what your looking at ;)
Or to put it this way, the six-day war in 1967 that Israel smartly pre-empted after the Arabs were amassing to attack, which resulted in a outstanding military success for Israel, yet at the same time Israel did in fact suffer hundreds of casualties. While that is sad indeed (as the above casualty figure), it still doesn’t take away from what was a great military accomplishment.
(Just btw in my opinion the six-day war was a more outstanding victory, it nonetheless doesn’t take away at all from the great accomplishment militarily what the U.S. accomplished in taking Iraq in the time that they did)
P.S. This is not about politics but about strictly the military and its battlefield achievements.
Shalom :D
