A Chinese special police squad show off their skills during a demonstration of crime and fire fighting skills in Shenyang, northeastern China's Liaoning province 14 June 2005. Crime in China rose rapidly in 2004 boosted by an epidemic of thefts and robberies, with more than half of all reported cases unsolved, as the increase in crime has been one of the unwelcome side effects of China's economic reform, which has loosened social controls and made it harder for the government to monitor people's movements and activities.

An Iraqi man, playing dead, is mourned by young girls during the second day of festivities commemorating the martyrs of Imam Mahdi's army in Sadr city in Baghdad. The procession was held a year after the first major battle between Shi'ites and U.S. troops ended when Moqtada al-Sadr, a hard line Shi'ite cleric, ordered his militia to put down their weapons.

Spanish police arrest a suspected Islamist militant in Santa Coloma de Gramanet, near Barcelona, June 15, 2005. Spanish police arrested 16 suspected militants on Wednesday, including followers of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi and men preparing to become suicide bombers in Iraq, the Interior Ministry said. It was the second European swoop in two days against suspected backers of the Iraqi insurgency, following Germany's arrest of three Iraqis on Tuesday.

In this handout photo from the Israeli defense Forces (IDF), IDF Chief of Staff Dan Halutz (R) laughs with unidentified army officers while viewing a ground forces exercise June 15, 2005 near the Tse'elim army base in Southern Israel. In his first interview with reporters since his promotion to the job at the beginning of this month, Halutz confirmed that soldiers involved in the evacuation of Jewish settlers from the Gaza Strip and northern West Bank will not bear arms, but armed forces will be stationed at key points to deal with any armed opposition.

Armed settlers sit at the synagogue of the Gaza Strip settlement of Netzarim, 15 June 2005. An Israeli-Palestinian committee coordinating Israel's withdrawal from the Gaza Strip met for the first time yesterday amid army warnings it would suspend the operation if it came under fire. Israeli army deputy chief of staff Moshe Kaplinsky and Palestinian deputy interior minister Jamal Abu Zeid attended the meeting, called to discuss implementation of the plan to withdraw all Israeli troops and over 8,000 Jewish settlers from Gaza starting in mid-August.

MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. (May 25, 2005) – Infantry Marines with 2nd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division demonstrated new training capabilities here May 14, which when implemented, can help Marines combat this threat in the future. The Marines performed convoy drills at Observation Post 2 as part of the new Convoy Operations Course displaying the beginnings of a new, more realistic training facility. The course simulates near and far ambushes where a vehicle goes down and Marines have to dismount and attack. There are also simulated hostages and the Marines have to react to insurgents using civilians as shields.

Fear not, your Savior is on the way. President Clinton will make pulling the troops out one of her first priorities. Bet she gets that done in 24 months after taking office. Of course the Ragheads will make the place just like Iran, but that's not a problem.

Wow, ******* doesn't have a bias...
Yes ******* is anti american because they show 1 picture of bush in a pose similar to a famous one made by hitler. Bush made the pose Bush has to live with it, it's reality not some fantasy world where people that die in wars are simply numbers on a screen.

a Republican Party fundraiser
That's like every dinner is a fundraiser ect ect.
But he indeed looks a bit like our german friend.

No offence; I wanted him to win in the elections and I do support the war, but I can't help that he poses like this ;) and I'm not a nazi of course (curse them)

I didn't say that ******* is anti-american. I said that they are biased in what they present. Of all the photos they could have posted to their wire to show Bush at the dinner, they chose that one, as he was lifting his hand to wave at the guests. Not fully lifted up, just enough to make it a Hitler salute.
Awesome pics today, guys.
