This is why, while I might have sympathy and sensitivity to Jews (thanks to every year being forced to go to the Museum of Tolerance by our school), I have no feeling of fondness towards Israel when they pull stuff like this.

You did notice that this was NOT an act of the Israeli government, right? It was just the act of one unnamed private company (of unknown size--it could be a mom-and-pop store for all we know) that does not reflect the rest of society. Plenty of individual PRIVATE companies in the USA, UK, and yes, even Canada, have also done unethical things.

What you're doing is the equivalent of blaming the White House for WalMart's corporate policies.

...well, thats gotta be one of the more racist things Ive ever heard. Sounds kinda like what Hitler did in Germany back in the mid-thirties...you guys afraid of your race being "tainted" by Asian influences?

For a nation of people who bitch about tolerance, there sure are some of you who really aren't to tolerant either...as demonstrated by the management staff of what ever corporation that made the asian workers sign those documents.

Yeah, but see in those nations that you mentioned there are race laws that prevent you from doing things like that. In the states they even have quota's...sure US, UK and Canadian governments have done unethical things recently, but what that corporation did was racist and they should have the hammer brought down on them.

No, actually we DON'T have quotas for how many ethnic minorities corporations must hire. Where did you hear that?

And I have never heard of an American law that specifically prohibits non-consorting-with-certain-people clauses in employment agreements. It's such a rare offense that most governments wouldn't think to outlaw it. And since we don't know a damned thing about who this company is or how big they are (are they a single garment manufacturer in a Tel Aviv back alley?), it's not surprising that maybe this slipped by the Israeli government's attention.

After all, WalMart's recent use of unpaid alien labor (they'd use illegal aliens, then refuse to pay them for their work and threaten to turn them into the INS if they complained) slipped by the US government long enough for the media to pick it up. And WalMart is far larger than ANY corporation in Israel, including this unnamed mystery company.

Not only this has nothing to do with "millitaryphotos" , but again , you tried to make a point here , whithout giving even a half of the picture . I see that a lot of people in here have some kind of bias towards Israel , but , when you put it on the web , make it rellevant at list .

This entire article is out of context ( not something unusual of AP) , but also is long ago up to dated , and full of two faced hipocrisy.

The article were written 2 years ago , when they started to replace Palestinian workers , there were no laws reguarding them , and one individual firm owner signed them . This days , the foreign workers have more or less good condittions , aproved by Israeli government , and social affairs .In april-august 2002 , every bussiness man , that had foreign emploeyes , called on ministry of affairs /visited by it , when they also checked the employment status of them , and the attitude towards them .

This one however was made , to gradually replace all foreign workers with Israeli workers , and that wouldn't made inpossible if the foreign workers would marry , and then stay in Israel . The employmentof foreigners in Israeli mostly hearts it's economy , instead of help it . But the article is written that way , that the only thing you understand that Israelies are racists . U.S. have much harsher laws about it's foreign workers , and no one makes any fass of this . http://www.bna.com/webwatch/h-1b.htm

But again , they rights are getting protected by 4 places :

http://www.kavlaoved.org.il/ - "Line for Worker"
http://www.acri.org.il/hebrew-acri/engine/index.asp -"Israeli human right society"
http://www.bambili.com/departmenth.asp - "Civil rights department"
"Foreign workers help dispatch" - they have no website.

Didn't see that comming , aren't you ?? Offcorse , why , when it's much easier to smuth all over my country . So , let me tell you something - half of the work emploeyes "foreign workers" , anf they all treating them the same , how come you ain't talking about this ??
Here , problems of foreign workers in Japan , one of the most ivolved countries in the world : http://www.asahi-net.or.jp/~FS5C-KPRW/fwh.html

You like apples , son ?
How you gonna eat those apples ?

P.S : If you don't want to go to that Museum of tolerance , don't go ! It seems as a total waste of time for you , take your stand then . To some people , ignorance is best way .
