GGFG Canadian Reserves Shoot

[Resevoir Hogs]

My unit the Governor Generals Foot Guards had a shoot last training night using weapons from the Ottawa Police Tac Team. We were able to fire Shotgun, Glocks, MP5, as well as our own Browning Hi power pistols, C9 LMGs and C6 GPMGs. Unfortunetly as the night went on we lost day light and I only had a disposible so the machine gun shoot will not be shown. Otherwise enjoy.

The police tazer was demonstrated on two poor volunteers. It was good fun and they were fine after walking it off. I've been tazed too and you don't have to worry about it unless your on heroine or have a (pace maker(I think).

So there you have it next time I get new pictures it won't be till August and the weeklong concentration excercise. But you can be guarenteed there will be lots of em.

I'm a 1 RCR boy :)
it'll probably be the same as always (yet still fun, especially when I was in the para company two years back with the germans, till I wrecked my leg :( );
pratice the first couple of days; then go do a live fire section attack (maybe not confirmed), either a live fire "ambush" or defensive position (possibly both), a blank firing raid, and a sim rounds OBUA at the ubran training centre (they've added four more buildings to the UTC in Petawawa). supposidly there'll be armoured and artillery support this year, but with the fire index already at high around here, I don't really see that happening continiously through the exercise.
I'll pass along stuff to you guys if you want when I hear more about the exercise (I'll know more after leave in july).

Sounds kinda like what happened last year and the year before but at least its something.

I remember two summers ago we did a live fire defensive with cougar armoured support. It was pretty sweet, we also had feild guns going off before it got to be out turn.

But ya I'd appreciate some heads up.

The OBUA site was looking pretty sweet last time I was there.

Well as Tom Cruise said to his prick commander "I'll look for you on the feild" except instead of shooting you I'll force you to eat my ham steak and raisin sauce muahahaha.
