Hello, Guten tag, Bonjour, Shalom
Just found the site, and was having a quick peek-a-boo and thought I'd register. Was in the UK forces for seven years but left in 1990 so I'm a little bit out of date.
Just out of curiosity whats the ratio on this site of serving or ex forces people to those wanting to join / interested in military ****.

Theres a handful of active guys, one is SOF.
Lots of Reserve and retired guys too.
Then there are just other folks with military or political intersets.

Hey, Jeff, you the same guy who posts over on Light Fighter?
Nope, not me..........I suppose I should fess up before people think Jeff White is my real name. In the British Army the three most popular names are
Jeff White...........Left, Right
Albert Turn.........About Turn
Mark Time..........Mark Time
If you have ever done foot drill the above should make sense, it's a play on words (sort of ;) ). For the guy whose grandad had that name, no offence intended mate.........coincidence :|
As for which unit I served with, it was in the Parachute Regiment. Like I said in my intro I've been out 13 years so am out of step with up to date info, but if you want any queries answered I'll do my best.

I don't mean to offend any real retired or serving personnel who have given their time and energy to defend what they or may not, believe in .
