this mark is not Israel's national flag it'division mark, chung-sung Div

R.O.K use 3type equipment 1. KTLBV(copy of old itlbv) 2.X type suspender 3.SOF vest(you can see all of them on the picture)
rok army is not interest in individual equipment.
(lower left and right are US itlbv)
so.. some solder use ww2 era equipment(some say 'my canteen was made in 1945' it's not surprising thing. poor quality and so expensive
damn. )
recently k-pot type head gear is issued first jaitun(iraq dispatched div)
next near DMZ forces.(you can also see old and new head gear old is
made by Nylon polymer new is Dyneema not kevlar they say it's lighter
but expensive. but 2point chin strap is still in use.(jaitun use 4point
chin strap)

yudo[in korean 'do'means island so in english yu island] i served in kimpo and kang hwa. 2nd marine div west of DMZ end of han river.
'007die another day'makes me laugh DMZ cannot easyly across with
hovercraft' it's heavily fortfied area with mines,barbed wire and thermal sight. and west is blocked by river east is mostly mountain.

ps.why dmz patrol troops're all MP? in korean war truce agreement there
is a word 'only police can patrol dmz' north korean troops are not keep
this rule. but south korean troops keep this rule formaly.
