I merely act as a counterweight to the overwhelming pro-right militaristic side. Diversity is needed, and it is important an individual interprets a scenario from multiple viewpoints. The reason I decided to post here after just viewing the images for some time was that I could no longer idly sit by as the same military bravado was posted each and every day. There are those who meet the exception of course, yet this ‘counterweight’ was my reason. I am not here to piss people off, rather provide and alternative viewpoint for one to recognize/interpret/dismiss as you wish. This world is not all black and white and I think a lot of forum members need to know there are many individuals like myself out there in the REAL world.

No, not unless you belong to a gun club. I don’t see the necessity in doing so, a shotgun does fine; additionally the cops don’t have to worry about concealed weapons in the home and on people themselves. If people carry concealed handguns on them all the time, there is that 'impulse action' due to drugs, booze, stress etc. Better off to not have handguns in the public’s hands at all. Shotgun does the job fine. Less guns make the world a safrer place, not a more dangerous one. Leave weapons in the hands of the responsible, not the gang-banging idiot who robbed a 7-11.
