Jeez, without the conformal fuel tanks in the last shots it looks just like a really clean IAF F-16D rofl .

yeah I hear you ;) .......First of all those pics are taken from first flight testing and they are just to make sure that the basic systems are in check...but yeah I didn’t look closely at the beginning for your right, I guess they don’t have them on now....but make no mistake, those are the new F-16I’s and I am sure that they will be added later (or when needed ;) :D ).

P.S the IAF F-16I has a lot more added improvements over the F-16D then just those conformal tanks (for more I suggest you read the link I provided above).

Ya, I've read that the conformal tanks actually make it less aerodynamic and maneuverable, so it makes sense to have them off in flight tests or short range fighter missions, then put them on for long range or ground strike missions.
