In WC 2005, are Germany gonna play like they did in Euro 2004, ie with no German players, just bunch of average Bundesliga players who happen to hold German passports and play like donkeys, or with German players with any actual talent? If they do, then i back them to win. Otherwise, get ready for more misery.

If you think they handed out german passports to any given above average foreign player you are wrong. The team is german! None of them just turned german a short while ago. It pretty much resembles the average population, so many people have roots in other countries. And if you take a look at the german u20 squad you'll see that probably more then 50% have foreign/immigrant ancestry. And second there is some talented (german) players. Most guys in this squad are just around 20, the youngest team ever. Podolski(20), Schweinsteiger(20) and a bunch of young guys form the core of the new generation. Podolski (20) scored today.

I think it's all team chemistry, like it is with everything else. Germany will be back with a vengeance when they find the new potion. :)
