Shipment of prototype of the vehicle 4x4 to Brazil

The 16 of June, the Direction of Investigation Development and Production sent to the Federal Republic of Brazil the prototype of the vehicle 4x4, denominated "Light Vehicle of General Use Aerotransportable".
One is the first technological project developed in joint form between the Argentine Army and the Army of Brazil.

In facilities of the B Ars 602, with support of specialists of the average civilian, the parts corresponding to the "Stage of Argentina Work", consisting of were designed and made Chasis-Jaula, power plant, transmission, system of direction, system of damping and armchairs.

It corresponds to him to the "Stage of Brazil Work" to develop the electrical system, system of refrigeration, fuel system, armament and accessories.

The prototype was embarked in Field of May in an airplane FIAT G 222, of the Cdo de Aviacio'n of Army, and transported until the airport of the Galeo, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

I don't think thats the point ;)

FAVs are not supposed to survive IEDs. It´s a recon platform for light infantry and SF carrying out secret ops. If the enemy knows where you going (thus being able to plant an IED) your operation wouldn´t be a secret.
