Nah, I'm too big to skate. Don't like the fashion that goes along with it aswell.

I'm too big too, but I do like the fashion. I used to skate (sucked at it), but I still wear the kind of clothing.

Not only that is skate-fashion. I don't like too baggy jeans, nor too big shirts...

What I'm wearing now; blue Emerica sweater, my good ol' DCs, and a pair of darkblue Vans jeans

When its on, down here in Oz, I always watch it. But most skate shows are crap, so the X-games are always something to watch. Some great talent and retardedly amazing tricks.

I surf so from May to September I basically wear board shorts and hawaiian shirts when I'm not at work. ;)

Never really got into skating or the fashion.

Cause it was "their fault." Nah, I'm just messing with ya. That seems to be case with most people.

Since i'm like ten years older then you. I remember the Bones Brigade.
Saw them at the Münster-Monster-Mastership in the late eighties.
I also remember Christian Hosoi, Gator, Mike Vallely and Bill Danforth.

I had a Vallely Deck (the one with the elephant) and my first was with 12 or so. Alva Nomad mini Bill Danforth. I dropped Skating years ago.

later i switched to the small ones, but i dropped it anyway. Wasn't that bad, but won't say i was great.

I was into skateboarding when it was popular the fist time round. Before anyone really knew the name Tony Hawk.

I feel so old. :(

But I always buy skateboarders shoes. They look good and are well made.

Well that's cool.

this monster-mastership in germany is there since the eighties. It's still there and was (and is) considered world-championships. It always attracts all the pros.

your ryan sheckler was third. standings:

Yeah I just checked out Ryan's site and saw he got third.

July 4th .. Ryan placed 3rd in Germany. It was an incredibly tough contest for Ryan due to the fact that he was taken to the hospital by ambulance for what we thought was a fractured TIBIA bone in his lower leg. He will be home tonight from Germany and he will visit his surgeon tomorrow morning before boarding a plane to Denver for the 2nd stop of the Dew Action Sports Tour.

I only have a few pics of me when I skated, broke my elbow dislocated the bone, 5 or 6 stiches in my right knee, turned my right ankle over so many times. I started in late 87 and quit in late 91.
Natas Kaupas was my hero at that time, always going for big ollies.

Well, I used to skateboard back when I was like 11-13ish. Pretty much everyone where I used to live (Irvine, CA) skated. I quit soon after. I still wear skateboard shoes and I have a Hook-Ups shirt, not because I am a poser, but because I like the style ;)
