anyone like to speculate what government inspired package tours we may go on this year?

Mine
Zimbabwe
Bosnia (with the ne serb govt playing silly buggers)
Kosovo
Macedonia
Israel
Kashmir

I assume that you are finn, so I think you are a little late, the finns are in Eritrea right now, took over the responsibility from the Irish, donīt know what country is going to rotate in next, but I donīt think it will be the finns again.

Yep, could be that eritrea is not an option anymore but during the last rotation cycle I was bound to go there. Too bad I was too busy in my civil work :|

I bet there will be a few more bods heading over to Georgia from the US and the UK. There are already some US troops there undertaking training and observation of the Georgian armed forces, but I bet there will be an increased presence now that they have gotten rid of Eduard Shevardnadze. Especially as western oil companies are now consolidating their access to Georgian oil reserves, laying new pipelines.

I see us going to a place that we wouldnt expect going...like maybe on a peackeeping/support mission. Maybe Belarus, or if there is some disaster like what happened in Iran. How about Yemen..not training, but helping to fight openly, not SOF, against their AQ guys?
