Heard something on the news today that Saddam might be in the Russian embassy in Baghdad claiming asylem. Assuming he has...

The simple question: Do we ask nicely for them to turn over the war criminal first....or do we just send in Delta and SAS and take him?

The Russians would not take kindly to American military violating the sanctity of their Embassy. By all considerations, Embassy property would be the Russian territory.

The Americans would consider it that way if it were their embassy.

Didn't the Russian already evacuate their embassy last week?

I heard all of the embassies were evacuated the on the first night of the invasion. But if the Russians are helping him, then they are harboring terrorist and we know how the comander and chief feels about that.

Well, at least some of the Russion diplomats in Baghdad tried to leave:

I've seen conflicting reports on whether the convoy continued on to Syria or turned back to Baghdad.
