Lock On? As in Lock On: Modern Air Combat/Lock On: Air Combat Simulation? If it is, I might as well stick these (see below) here :D...

Yes A-10, I've begun to practice the sim on it. Slow, huge but very manoevrable.

And make strike against T-80 with the 30mm. !!!! You zoom at max on the hud, move slowly, puhs the trigger : BRRRRR!!! Like a laser ray.

And the T-80 blow just when you pass toward him.

Great.

But I dislike the F-15. I prefer russian jet. More acrobatic :D

Take a look on the video you wil understand.

That's a great video. The sounds were great, but then in the ending credits it says that they're all from movies and not from games. Does anyone have any movies that show off the sounds and some a-10 action from in the game? I haven't picked up Lock On, but I might be persuaded to give it a try.

To get gamer sound in video is difficult and become maybe possible since very soon. (following the early release of the 1.01 patch).

But in this video they used FRAPS (frame captor) so no sound.

The pilot make there trick with low quality/high fps, recording all in a track, and replay it at high quality and fraps runing.

But the sound in the game still amazing, wind is credible with speed, and you can "feel" and heard the break of wall of sound. Big noises follow by silence. And in external/passage view you can see the jet pass front of you and heard the impressive sonic bang later.

Lock on is maybe too young, but with time it will be better and better. I enjoy it.

I think 1,4Ghz, 512Mo RAM and Gforce 4200 can you give an idea of the minimum

It's more fun setting up a convoy of BTRs, then knock out the first two with Maverick Ds, then come in and strafe the ones left with the 30mm and Hydras, whilst they try and get around the burning wrecks of the ones hit my the AGM-65s. And all through that they're firing at you, which then means after rolling away a popping some flares, you have to find a road to attempt a belly landing on with one engine on fire and half a wing missing.

Same here, the Eagle is just to darn complicated! It's the only one I don't get on with, all the rest I'm perfectly fine with :D. My favourites are the Su-33 and A-10A :P, with the three Fulcrums a close second. The Frogfoot was my training jet .

No , they're Turkish M48s. I set-up a little mission where Turkey was offering support to a Ukranian and Georgian invasion of Russia :D. If you have a look at the first screen cap', you can just barely see a pair of Israeli F-16s taking out some Turkish F-5s, before me and my wingman roll in .
