185 and 15? I find that hard to believe. How long have you been benching for? What did you start at?

Dont. thats more than average for your age. thats what leads me to believe that this guys is huge for his age or lying. Thats not even very good for someone thats 15 to be lifting taht much.

65 strokes in 15 seconds.....um....wait, this is the wrong topic.

Meh, I was half joking. But really, some of the guys I know can do a hell of alot more...considering they're about 3x me.

Make sure to post this type of thing in the off topic and humor section, not in the general discussion group next time. (moving it there now)

Yeah, it's not really that good to be body biulding until you're done growing (around 18 or so.) By all means, stay fit and toned, but as Evan said you must be huge for a 15 year old to be lifting that much. If you're not, it'll stunt your growth ;)

Yea you might break/damage your growth plates.

It can but not entirely, it will halt muscle growth mostly. WHich is worse, because as we all know, the body is a machine and muscles are the pistons making everything move. If your young and want to get interested in working out, dont just start on your own. read up on it at your library or talk to a personal trainer. Make sure you know what your doing before you do it.

I must admit. I'm possibly the laziest person. I don't bench, I want to, but its hard if I don't have a bench. :|
But I won't bench nothing more than my body can stand. If I go for 150, I might pop every muscle in my poor scrawny arms.
