Couple Swimming in $7.7 Million Water Bill
Fri Jan 9,10:16 AM ET

DALLAS (*******) - A Texas couple needed a drink after they got a water bill for $7,714,510.21 instead of the usual $50 or $60.

Stella and Chuck Richison were sent the bill from the coastal city of Corpus Christi, Texas. The city has acknowledged that the bill was sent in error because of a computer glitch.

"They must have been thinking we were watering all of Corpus Christi," Stella Richison said on Thursday.

She said she opened the letter from the utility seeking nearly $8 million and handed it over to her husband, saying: "Honey, you've got a bill."

They called the water department to question if the figures were correct and were met by silence on the other end of the phone. "Then, they all chuckled and they freaked out," Richison said.

The Richisons plan to frame the $7.7 million water bill and hang it in their house -- perhaps over the kitchen sink.

Pretty weird story behind that picture. I found on google while looking for pictures of some Ah-1 Cobras. It in Chinease and I have no clue what it means, it looked funny so I used it.

Ok, this is pissing me off. What the f*** does metro****** or whatever mean? I have never heard of that word before about a month ago, and I see it about a million times every time I get on here. What does it mean? Or what's the story behind it?

In quick/un-PC terms, a metro****** is a straight guy with a gay guy's fashion sense . A metro****** is the sort of guy who conditions his hair and enjoys shoe shopping. Allegedly the term is nearly a decade old, but I'd never heard it until a few months ago. VH1 did a lot to make the term mainstream.

I think "metro******" is a great term, because many gay guys I've known don't fit the gay stereotype, and many of the people who I've known who fit the gay stereotype actually prefer women romantically. So whereas three years ago, people talked about "f-gs," nowadays people can rant about "metro******s" and (1) not be bigoted, and (2) be more specific and accurate when they feel like dissing poncy nancy-boys. Good stuff.

Here's a secret that I wouldn't let out on this website if I wasn't effing trashed right now: I'm a raging metro******. I LOVE clothes-shopping, and before leaving the house, I ask myself if my shoes match my belt. Booyah. There, I said it. I knew it was gonna get out some time or other, despite my decidedly un-metro****** avatar.

Thanks for that explanation SS47 I had been under the illusion that Metro******s were blokes that dressed up all pretty and swung both ways. :)

While I will admit to using the terms "outerwear" and "hair product" in everyday speech, I swing in only one way--and that's directly toward Angelina Jolie ;)
