cool what next??? hungarians or maybe kazachstan??? very good job nice research it is goot to know your friends..

that may help you... sorry in polish but you can look on flags to search for units and photos :-) it is little outdated since there are more soldiers from other countries and now is rotation of troops but it shows how mixed is that division and how dificult ie comunication is... less to say they are 3 commader deputies every one from other country...

There are also several other coalition members not shown there, as their troops are in the UK or US sectors, such as the Netherlands, Italy, New Zealand, Estonia, Albania and Azerbaijan.

Next will probably be Macedonia, Albania or one of the Baltic states. Hungary, Slovakia and Romania are out there. I have only found 2-3 pictures of the Kazakh contingent so far.

I have only found 2-3 pictures of the Kazakh contingent so far.Well... AFAIK there are only 25 soldiers from Kazakhstan in Iraq, so...

Kazakh stabilisation force to head to Iraq in August (KAZAKHSTAN, IRAQ) ASTANA, Kazakhstan, 30 June 03 (AFP)

Kazakhstan will send 25 military personnel including demining experts and engineers to Iraq in August to help in post-war reconstruction efforts, officials in this former Soviet republic said Monday.

Eight officers, three translators and other specialists will spend six months clearing mines and securing water supplies from a base in Iraq's neighbour Kuwait, defence ministry spokesman Altynbai Daurenbekov told AFP.

"Their task will be purely humanitarian - securing water supplies, clearing mines and of course ensuring their own safety," Defence Minister Mukhtar Altynbayev told parliament earlier.

The deployment will be the first time that one of the former Soviet Central Asian republics has joined Western-led peace support efforts and comes after Moscow has shown greater openness to the idea of helping deal with the aftermath of the overthrow of Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein.

Financing of the Kazakh mission has yet to be settled although earlier estimates put the cost to Kazakhstan at between 66,000 dollars (55,000 euros) and 98,000 dollars.

The decision to provide assistance came in response to a written request by US President George W. Bush to his Kazakh counterpart Nursultan Nazarbayev.

Kazakhstan gave guarded support to the US-led invasion of Saddam Hussein's Iraq earlier this year despite Moscow's opposition.

At least I have seen pictures of the Kazakhs. There has been a Moldovan contingent in as-Samarrah since September, and I have seen almost nothing on them outside of Moldovan media, and no pictures.

The Moldovan Minister of Defense, Brigadier General Victor Gaiciuc, visited the troops last week for Orthodox Christmas, but nothing seems to have appeared in the Western media about it. In December, one soldier, Plutonier Veaceslav Lipciu, was awarded the Medal "For Courage and Sacrifice" for shielding his commander from fire during a firefight. Lipciu was wounded in the incident. Two lieutenants received the Medal "Meritul Militar" during Brig. Gen. Gaiciuc's visit.
