Got an islamic post that you need to share? Finding that your threads on muslims are being locked?
Here is a free haven to thrash out anything that tickles your fancy that relates to Mohamed and his people. Try not to go over the top and it won't get locked/deleted.
New threads like the ones seen in the previous week will be treated as per the Muslim threads (http://www.militaryphotos.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=54331) announcement.
If it's news and it has a military slant, put it in general discussion, if it's a rant or non military related bit of news put it here.
This is only hapening because you tried to turn the place into something it's not and the result is heavy handed moderating.

I met Islam once, at a party. He seemed nice enough but he double-dipped his chip. I was a bit put off by that.

What the Industry is Saying About AccessLan's i-SLAM and Internet Scaling Architecture
"The scalability problem in provisioning PVCs to enable DSL-based services is quite acute and one that Transbeam has faced as an ISP and as a Northpoint and Covad Reseller. AccessLan's i-SLAM and ISA provide an attractive solution not only to the provisioning problem, but also laying the QoS foundation for value-added Internet-based services."Marc Sellouk Chief Executive Officer Transbeam, Inc.
"The DSL industry is entering the third phase of expansion - the first phase was driven by Internet access; the second by VoDSL. The third phase is characterized by delivery of Internet-based packaged applications and streaming content and will drive the industry to new levels. The requirement to deliver these Internet-based services - application hosting, streaming content, etc. - and to classify, prioritize and provide QoS management for each application stream imposes a new set of stringent requirements on DSLAMs. AccessLan's i-SLAM approach, with IP QoS management and scalability using MPLS is clearly designed for the third phase." What is there to discuss? There is no specific aspect of Islam under discussion, just a "discuss Islam here." That's what I don't understand about the "Muslim threads" rule, Cali Joe. If we beat a thread to death, we are supposed to go back to that thread and post again?
Almost every thread here begins with an article, or a specific aspect of X, which begets discussion, then mushrooms into a broader topic. To me, it doesn't make sense to start a thread with no basis for discussion.
I'm just confused and looking for a clarification, please do not take my remarks as critical of you, or the other moderators. I just want to understand what the boundaries are, and why topics relating to Islam are suddenly out-of-bounds.

Your comment is the issue. You may have been sarcastic, but this sentiment is the problem moderators and Hood are trying to manage. Those of us who would discuss Islam in a calm tone aren't able to, because of "raghead" comments with no value to the topic at hand.
