Looking for Axl Rose war quote [Archive]

Somewhere, a while ago, I heard Axl Rose say something vaguely along the following lines:

Hey, listen, nobody is enthusiastic about going to war. But you've got to be a f---ing ---hole to root for the other side.

Yet, even with wonderful ol' Google, I can't find the quote now. Does anybody know what exactly he said, and when, and in reference to which war (Iraq or Afghanistan)?

When I think war quotes I think, Hmmmmm I wonder what aging heroin addicts that haven't had a hit in years and don't realize time passed them by with receeding hairlines and were beaten up by a victoria's secret model girlfriends think. But maybe that's just me. And Slash.

I'm not basing my foreign policy beliefs off of Axl--I just thought it was a great quote which happened to reflect the view I already had. Big difference ;)
