I'm considering getting one. I like the price and the features. Does anyone have any experience with it? Just wanted to see if I could get some feedback. Thanks :D

When you do get one, if you do, I hereby require you to post a lot of pictures and give a good review. I'll give a good review of my Maxpedition Baby Condor if you give a nice on of an AIII.

dude, Im getting the TT assault pack over the Eagle. yeah, the Eagle is hot, but the TT is a tad more compact and a lot lighter. Its also got PALS webbing for the same price as the older A-III pack. Though the new eagle pack has PALS, its $50 more. Go with TT its as good for a better price

I already purchased the Eagle. I've heard great things about it. Been to various forums and read input from guys who have served. Also, my pack had to be in MC and have velcro ;)

Finally got a chance to use the pack today. Took it out to the beach and loaded it up with my hydration bladder, tons of snack, extra canteen for water, towels, etc. The pack is VERY comfortable and I never run out of room to put things in it :D

Howie, Howie... Come on brother, you missed one of the MOST important things to do with gear like that... Test it for it's camo abilities! Next time you're at the beach, leave it in various areas and go various distances away and take pictures. We want to see how well it works, man!

Unfortunately, there was a lot of tear-down construction going on right where we were from past hurrican preparation. So, I wasn't really able to wander and such :(

 I'm sure all those chips and water made it necessary to use the waist strap

Well, it's not like I was lugging around a ton of weight, but the waist strap does make it more comfortable. First of all, we had to trek about 300 yards down the beach in thick sand due to construction near where we entered the beach line. The waist straps made it easier to walk through that. And, by the way, I had more than you thought in my pack. I was carrying over 3.5 liters of water, the snacks, and gear in my pack. Like I said, not that much weight, but the waist straps helped to balance out the weight.
