Well, it is one of the biggest papers in Russia, it basically describes how the whole thing started, how thousands of letters came to Ziff Davis Media, but instead of apology they threatened a law suit about the copyright rights. It mentions that Roman Stepanov (is that you, Permskii OMON?) first noticed this, and then with the help of American and other multinational friends he bombarded the Ziff. Anyway, it says almost after the threat of law suit, realizing that they are in deeper **** than first expected, they sent a letter to Roman where they apologized and said they would post it in the next issue of the magazine.
Anyway, we all know the story... It just says that the magazine is not very popular in Russia, so if not for Roman this could have just go on without any reaction. They also mention how in the hell a supposingly respectable magazine would post something like that anyway, and that they would never do such thing with American soldiers.
Then it closes by saying that hopefully no one else will try to follow their footsteps, but the again, its hard to filter all the stuff thats posted out there
