Hi Luno, I’m glad to see you back with lots of great pics! :D

Can you take some pictures of the troop compartment of the CV 9040?
I’ve seen some pics where the soldiers are sitting back against back (not facing each other) on benches in the centre of the compartment but it doesn’t seem to be the case on the CV 90 you posted pics of.
There is an article about the Archer in the July issue of the French magazine RAIDS. The name given in this article is FH77 BW L52.
It is said in the article that both Swedish and Danish armies are interested in this vehicle and that it is actively promoted in Australia.
So do you know the actual statue of the program, is the vehicle presented only a mock-up, a prototype or the final vehicle and if Swedish army wants to buy it to replace the M109?

The FH77 BW L52 AKA Archer is a real working gun so its not a mock-up but I am not sure if it is a prototype or the final vehicle and I don’t have so much info on it but i gone ask the artillery boys on Friday :)
There where also an Jas 39C standing there but the plane where a mock-up

It's more likely to be a Bandvagn. The original swedish design from which NASU was copied from.
That Archer is interesting. Never heard of it before. Is it a prototype or is it in service?

Swedish army got their first deliveries of Archer not so long a ago (I don't know how many that are ordered though).
Here are some pics of the first shooting with the first unit delivered.

"The new artillery system will have a range of up to 60 km (37 miles), an automatic loading system (20+20 rounds) capable of handling Excalibur and Bonus, as well as modular charges. It will be capable of six round Multiple Round Simultaneous Impact (MRSI), as well as engaging mobile targets. The system shall be capable of a roadspeed of 70 km/h, and be transportable by rail and air. The operational mobility is a vital factor and the good all-terrain capability of the system gives ability to use modern tactics and capability of autonomous behaviour. The system will be armored (shrapnel and small arms) and a secondary armament of an automatic grenade launcher (40 mm Mk19) or 12.7 mm HMG (.50cal M2HB). The system will from the start be equipped with an internal communications system and will be upgraded with the gear that newer C3 systems will demand."
From the pdf-file:
Salvo: 3 rounds in 15 seconds.
Intensive Fire: 20 rounds (a full magazine) in 2.5 minutes.
Continuous Fire: 75 rounds an hour.
Multiple Round Simultaneous Impact, MRSI, up to 6 rounds.
Direct-sighting for ranges up to 2,000 metres.
Secondary Weaponry: Grenade Launcher or Machine Gun.
Mobility in up to 100 cm deep snow.
Maximum road speed: 70 km/h.
Transportable by rail.
Transportable by air.
Armouring equivalent to a tracked armoured veichle, reinforced mine protection and NBC protection.
Integrated command, fire control and communication system with internal fire control.
Here are some high resolution picture off the Archer taken by me p-) if you want a high resolution picture off the other pictures just tell me :)

Isbjoern and Thor
Thanks for the info.
Isbjoern the pdf you gave a link to is strange. Identifying a Swiss mortar carrier M113 as a threat in a “peace keeping environment” is quite unusual. p-)
Luno a high res of this picture would be nice please. :D

I can agree with you on that  . I suppose the pdf-file was made by PR-people who just took a bunch of photos that they found suitable.
But then again, you never know... Maybe the Swiss army have some secret plans.... :D :D :D
