Today another Polish diplomat was assaulted in Moscow. It is second Polish diplomat and third Polish ambassy worker assaulted in Moscow! now who will say that Poles have some complex towards Russia?

The Russian authorities should investigate and prosecute the attackers. I hope this idiocy stops, the last thing both our countries need is more animosity.

Exactly, it seems that Polish diplomats are targeted on purpose in Moscow now.
If the attacks are intentional hate-crimes, the perpetrators should be prosecuted accordingly (hate-crime conviction carries a harsher punishment).
The Polish embassy's reaction is balanced and cool, they said they don't intend to send another note to the Russian authorities but instead would like to "figure out" what is happening.

You people are so negative! If we work together, we can make something constructive out of this situation, and make a load of cash at the same time. What I am proposing, of course, is a no-holds-barred, bare-knuckle cage fighting tournament between invited Polish and Russian skinhead teams. Then they can work out their differences constructively and come to a common understanding, while I pocket the proceeds from venue seating and PPV rights.

Apparently the Polish guys were just on a routine mugging and decided to give the kids a few extra kicks to the head after they found out where they were from. A group of skinheads attacked Russian schoolchildren aged 16 to 17 at approximately 9 p.m. local time in Warsaw two days ago. The incident took place very late at night in one of the city's parks. The teenagers were going back home from a movie theatre when a bus stopped nearby. Fifteen skinheads got off the bus quickly. The leader aged 25-27 especially stood out
First of all atack was on 6:30 PM but was reported to Police at 9:30 PM by embassy worker not by victims or their legal guardians. It's why noone was detained becouse Police was informd 3 hours AFTER incident.
Hard to tell that 9PM is late at night in Warsaw not to mention 6:30PM when this incident took place. So your source only repeated rumor bull**** spread around by someone who intends to hurt polish-rusian relations.
The schoolchildren, of whom there were three boys from Russia and one from Kazakhstan, received brain concussion and are at the hospital at the moment. Investigators hope that they will be able to answer some questions in the nearest future.
Children were examined by MSW hospital staff and were released since no brain concussion was detected. Only one broken teeth and some minor scratches that were treated in hospital ER room. Note that MSW (Ministry of Internal Affairs) hospital is best equipped hospital in Warsaw and with best staff (all polish VIPs are treated there including PM and parliament members as well as other goverment officials.)
So it's another bull**** in this article since childeren after brief examination were released home and were not in hospital, nor suffered brain concussion .
About two years ago the youth branch of the Nazi movement "Self Defense" ("Samoobrona") was formed. By different estimates it incorporates many thousands of young people, thoroughly selected. According to those who left "Self Defense", the idols of the movement were Stalin, Hitler, Ceausescu, and Franco. The "Self Defense" leader, Andrzej Lepper, might well have pretensions of a sort of a Polish "Fuhrer."

there were a bunch of them some 10-15 years ago when in it was in some way "fashionable" to be skinhead or punk. struggles between those two opposite movements where in those days something quite common in Warsaw but i don't think political issues were the most important thing in those antagonisms...
but now?!? no one gives a **** anymore about all of that. all those people are in my opinion just to mature and serious (job, family etc) now to take part of movements which can give them only unnecessary troubles. and like it is not trendy anymore there is really hard to find any youngsters being punks ot skinheads today... today youth are more interressed by 50 cent and new Nike sneakers than being in some way politically oriented.
and last time I've seen a nazi/right winged skinhead it was a 18 years old wan looking weed and pimpled youngster. nothing to be scarried of... and I doubt there are more than let's say fifteen of them in the whole city... they're like dinosaurs :lol:
in my opinion the russians were beatten rather by some ordinary young drug addicted thugs from poor suburbian quarters. they're a much more common phenomenon than skinheads today in Poland. they often also shave their heads and pump their muscles, howether their only ideology is to find any money at any price. and there aren't any politics in all of that. they are just to dumb to be interressed by political issues. that's all what I think about the incident which took place in Warsaw.

There are now five police officers guarding the Polish embassy by day and 4 by night, the Moscow Criminal Investigations unit reportedly put their best investigators on the case.
In Poland the Police have detained two stolen goods dealers that were found in possession of the items stolen from the Russian kids attacked earlier.
Clearly, the authorities of both countries would like to resolve these matters as soon as possible and not allow similar acts to happen again.
We cannot afford not to be friends with our Slavic brethren, we share a lot of commonalities in culture and life attitudes, not to mention our taste in food and drink ;)

A Polish journalist was beaten up in Moscow at 19:30 of the local time. He left an office of "Rzeczpospolita" newspaper to buy cigarettes in a shop and has been beaten up by five men. According to him he feel good, but looks like a heavy weight boxer after a few rounds of boxing.
Meanwhile the Polish police arrested a receiver who bought the goods of the Russian teenagers mugged in Warsaw from skinheads and was going to sell them. He has not participated in the mugging. According to the police he is young (a good news for his prison mates) ;)
Our Great President, Foreign Minister, a Government spokesman and ALL their assistants are on vacation and nobody bothers to make a speech about the latest events.
The Polish television showed Polish-Russian trade exchange by the border with Kalinigrad region and common people, who live peacefully.

I heard in TV news all the perpetrators of mugging of the Russian and Khazah children in Warsaw were detained by the Polish police yesterday.
They are very young, so in my opinion their prison mates will like their company. They will can boast in the future "I fuc.ked a TV star" p-) I think it will be very prestigious among prison community.
