I'm going to tell you something that happened to me recently:
Some friends and i were in downtown Lund in Sweden to visit a friend, and we were taking pictures. We wanted to take the typical group photo and my friend approached a girl who was just passing by. He approaches her and says: "Excuse me , can you take a photo for us?". Then she looked at my friend and said: "You are not going to have *** with me dirty pervert".
We were all completelly shocked because it's not the first reaction of swedish girls towards spaniards we see.
So here's what i want to know:
a) Is it a problem about swedish girls? I've travelled a lot and i've never seen such things , even in Nordic countries .
b) are spaniards being victims of our constant flirting with nordic tourists in Spain?
What do you guys think about this?

Probably a good mix of all three, or maybe your friend just looks like a horny donkey... ;)

A simple matter of trying again. If you try several times and always get a negative answer, then you know were the problem lies. BTW it is not about spaniards, at least I have always have chemistry with swedish gals.
No offense, Knutsen, but i would never approach some girl in an latin/spanish country. I wouldnt simply dare.
Latins have a rumour here in the north to chase girls. Sometimes we get pissed. Maybe sometimes its better to just cool down.
Why she reacted like she did was probably because she was a. bitch b. bad memories of latins.
Im shocked of what you are saying because i thought we swedes were very tourist friendly.

Mmmm, our group photo was simply a photo of our group of friends together, just to be able to say in the future: "Look , these are the guys who went to Sweden".
There was no problem with the language, i heard what he said and he said nothing wrong.
I have to say Sweden is a great country and i like swedes, its just swedish girls don't like us, and well, to be honest, my friends are a bit..... spanish (i'm sure foxtrot knows what i mean ;) ).
Personally, when walking alone i've never had any problem, but that's probably cause i don't fit the spanish stereotype

Maybe she thought you were going to take pictures of her.

Donīt beat yourself up, it was probably a girl with a bad day. BTW there is no spanish steriotype, every region is different

Effji, what i mean about nordic countries is that i've never lived anything like that in other nordic countries. No offence to Sweden :hug:
About the way i talk about nordic countries... well , i have norwegian ancestors (the rest are spanish), i hope to move there one day and i appreciate your lifestyle a lot. You're a bit picky with language Effji ;)
BTW there is no spanish steriotype, every region is different
That's something many people don't know.

The problem, the way I see it is that she was probobly a student at the university and perhaps not originally from Lund. Some students from other cities sometimes develop a bad attitude for reasons unknown.

a) many swedish girls gets hit on a lot and are used to handle the attention
b) she was regarding you as an immigrant arab or something and not as a tourist
c) she had a bad day/that time of month p-)
