Hi,

On the website of my favourite online kit store (www.ranger-shop.de) I saw a series of products in the so called "AF Tarn" (AF Camouflage). The design and fabric of the trousers and shirts are exactly the same as the German Bundeswehr ones, and in the paper catalogue they are listed on the same page as the official German army fatigues. Is this some kind of new camouflage of the German Air Force or something? I had never heard of it.

Thanks.

Try www.recon-company.de , that is definitely the better shop.
Ranger-shop.de mostly sells cheap knockoffs, sometimes falsely labeled as issued/original stuff.

Yeah , I would actually think that this specific "AF-tarn" - camouflage here is once again manufactured by the infamous and ****ty German company of Mil-tec.

Yeah, had a word about the AF-Tarn with legendary Henrik (http://www.henrikc.dk/camouflage/index.asp). It seems to be a commercial pattern.

PS. It's worth noting that guys form rangershop declared that this camo is used by... Czech Air Force. Can anyone from CZ confirm this?

Where did you read that?

I havent read it anywhere - that's what they told us when we inquired on this particular camouflage set. They insisted of being 100% sure of this info. If you ask me they speak BS - i suppose CZ AF uses same Vz95 camo as rest of its armed forces.

I was told by recon company at IWA Show this March, that the Ranger shop is a break away...
