I don't think he's in China. Although he would have some allies there, he would be far more protected in Pakistan or Iran. Plus it would probably be hard for him to give orders and still remain some what in control if he was so isolated from the rest of his friends. My guess is Pakistan or Iran, but who knows.

He is more probably still across the afgan / pakistan border, where some talibans and fundamentalist pakis live. That's a complete ****hole where he certainly can find the help he need.

OBL probably is not going to want to go to an atheist state, they are more haraam than American's....who for the most part are people of the book (Christians I mean ).

It wouldn't surprise me if he was somewhere we wouldn't expect him to be including right under our noses.

um... Why would the Chinese government even think about developing an association with terrorists, when not surprisingly, they are fighting Islamic extremists in western China (Xinjiang) anyways? It's indeed alarming but humourous to see the tendency to create over-reaction when someone mentions the five-letter word that begins with a capital 'C', and then ends with 'a'.

"Just where are his wives and kids?"
"They're certainly not in some cave". . .

Definitively not iran as it is a shiite muslim state
Bin Laden believe in Wahhabism (fundamentalist wing of islam)
To wahhabist followers, shiite belivers are not true muslims (rather a threat to "true" islam)
Alot of attacks conducted against the iraqi population by terrorists are done due to the fact the victims were shiites

I'd say he's dead. Think about it. When was the time he appeared personally in a video message?

Why couldn't he hide there? He would be literally one in a billion, that is pretty good odds to me! ;)

He can't live there. He will die with the swine epidemic spreading all over the place. Just imagine a waiter asking him, "care for stir fry pok wit hunan rice?"

actually this is a very good point, if you think about it he could EASILY hide in a small village in western china near the himalyas where the U.S would never expect to find him...
