Hello all, just on the pay computer down here at Royal Australian Navy Recruiting Center, what's going on?

Been flat out, getting out kit issued, injections, haircuts, induction to marching, steyr drill, etc, etc.

Freezing down here, im from W.A (The hot part of Australia) and it SNOWED HERE yesterday. unreal.

Half my division is in sick parade for having pnemonia or some crap, so it's interesting.

This is the end of our 2nd week here, my class has... 15 people left from 25 people on the first day, droppng like flies.

Will check back on this thead in a couple of days to see what's up.

It snows every year in Australia, there are skiing regions eg; Perisher, and Bluecow.

man pt is lucky, we had just a couple minutes on the phone before they told us to get what we needed and move the **** out. we got a px visiit once every 2 weeks i think. basic was a joke thinking back on it now, but it still didnt stop us from losing 45% of our class over the 8 week cycle

G'day G'day fellas, another quick msg to... yeah, let you know what's up.

Had Sea Survival Training last THursday and I went down with hypothermia 2 hours into the exercise because my thermal suit filled up with water haha, spent night in hospital.

Got a new division started today, so my div is no longer the newbies, were intermediate.

Armed drill bloody rules, nearly have to hide my hardon everytime we do it haha. But yeah, this weekend (Couple days now) we have earnt leave and I am heading into town to hit the piss, finally.

5 weeks without beer is UnAustralian :lol:

I'm loving it here now, my class has to re-do the sea survival training on friday, so that sucks arse. But atleast i'll earn my beers if i Pass it this time. Note to self, get someone smarter to put my suit on for me.

What have I been missing since my last update? Jackmehoff banned? haha ah well, update me update me update me.

Sorry digrar, ausspeciforces isnt working on this computer so I cant give updates there.
Just keep people away from joining as a BM :P

Ugh, pulling a Block Sentry duty tonight from 0230-0430, so that sucks. Atleast its in the newbies division, might have some fun walking up and down the hallways stomping my feet loudly haha, poor ****ers. Seems like only yesterday I was in the newbie div. It's going really, really quick. 2 weeks until we do Steyr training, can't wait.

Thought i'd give you blokes a little update on my progress.
Passed steyr, had my leave, passed Combat Survivability (Ship firefighting, dammage control, hole plugging etc) next week is sea phase which I am looking forward to, spending a week on a ship doing stuff all.
All the hard stuff is over, only got a couple of things to do and then im out of here and flying to Sydney and then home for 4 weeks at Christmas (Woohoo MSN!) and then back to sydney for 22 weeks to do me catagory training (Get to sink piss with Minardiau :lol: )
