Very long video and i suppose interviews will not be interesting for those who don't understand Russian, but this vid have a lot of footage from Dagestan events including helicopter attack which supposedly killed 10 guerillas.

There was not even a remote mentioning of America in the entire clip.
Journalist had only said that no one else in the world is engaging in combat at 3000+ meters(~10.000 feet) above sea level.

Don't forget there is conscription - any chechen guerilla can be ex-soldier. Their leader in 1991-1996 Dudaev was Soviet general of strategic bombers division for example.

No you have heard it wrong. It was said that a lot of them were foreigners, that's why they showed passports. I'll translate it sometime latter.

The announcer said that Spetsnaz operates in conditions that their, Western counterparts dont even train in. I thought this was pretty arrogant. (However, the actual oiperators were very modest throughout the video, I should add) o well, i guess the news people are arrogant on both sides, hehe.

I think the "other" Special Forces dont fight in this heights as they have no tasks there momentally.

If you would say GROM or DELTA you have to fight in 4000 m for example i think they would make it too :)
