by the looks of your weapons and clothes,i can see that you have not started adding mods toyour stuff.i suggest you go to www.ghostrecon.net for the best mods but i warn you to steer clear of the delta force mod.The best mod for me at least was the navy seal mod.Try it

i have a navy seal mod as well, but i haven't updated it for a long time.

fantastic game, but the quality of the engine is inferior to almost everything out today. OFP gets better graphics and detail on some parts. still, it's a great game, but i can't go online because i can't update to 1.4.0 from 1.3.5. :cantbeli:

here's lots of good mods, useful stuff and info (including the manual) for ghost recon. There's a section in there, think it's the unlock link in the GR related menu, that will give you all the saved games for ghost recon, desert siege and island thunder.

Rupert - the SA80 is not a mod but one of the weapons available with the original game.

I had a baja bravo's canadian kit mod, it converted everything into Canadian arms and cadpat. It was really slick....too bad someone stole my ghost recond cd and i dont have the gr zip anymore :fork:

You seem to have a very sterotypical (sp?) of war games....... there not all blood n' guts, most games don't even have that much gore. I like games where you have to think to win, ghost recon is an excellent game for this. You are almost required to use tactics, full frontal assualts rarely work, as in reallife.

Friggin cool! My brother and I used to be fanatical about Ghost Recon. We had 6 computers networked in our flat so we could play missions together and against each other. We would go through mods as fast as we could. Our favorites were the weapons mods.
I haven't played in almost a year now. What have I missed?
Now that I know that Argyll is a modder I might have to re-kit and start playing again.

Just a quick note, though I understand that this is just for a game and as such the accuracy in details is not all that perfect, I still want to point out that those unit patches on the soldiers arm are only here, for in real life there is no such tag that goes on the shoulder when they are out on duty, its only worn when a soldier is off base on leave.
