GREAT! I love em all!
gotta love those little amphibious tanks :)
why is China the only country in the world that seems to do that?
innovative?
or are they too vulnerable?
The US doesn't really need to because you can land Abrams with lcac and the like but we (the Netherlands) can't even deploy mbt's with an ampibious assault because our landing ships are too small (or better leopard2 is a bit too heavy :))
then again our marines are more of a motorized infantry thing instead of a mechanized one so mbt's will only slow them down ... but still I wonder why we don't see more amphibious tanks

The amphibious tank can adapt to subtropical zone's physical geography and marsh; The physical characteristics need amphibious tank in Asia.I think landing is amphibious tank 's parergon.
The MBT-96 be part of land army, they don't usa it in landing.I think PLA will manufacture a conveyance like Lcac, help them carry MBT. :)

well, China has the biggest Amphibious tank force in the world. Thats because China's Marine force is built and trained around solely for being able to take the Taiwanese islands with an overwhelming force. The Tanks are just light tanks, and can't compete with MBTs but they provide rapid deployment of Armor in any situations.
