As his diplomatic immunity protects him from possible charges of vandalism or public disturbance, this might be the only way to get to him.

Then again, I don't think measures as drastic as this are very good foreign policy. Hopefully the whole scandal has taught the ambassador (and the possible forces in Israeli government who alledgelly back him up) that he can't just go on doing what he prefers, no matter how untouchable he might be as a diplomat.

He should be considered a persona non grata, and it should be up to the Israeli embassy to send him home in exchange for one that can behave like a civilized person.
