In the "Newsweek" cover shot of the Army SF practicing CQB, I believe the helmet he has is a RBR CVC. What does that stand for? Also, I just got a magazine with three more pictures from this session. Are there any more of this training op on the web?

If you're referring to the training exposition where they're getting off MH-6's, look in the contemporary section under ussocom training.. .that might be the same one you're talking about.

CVC usually stands for Combat Vehicle Crewman in the Army
