On a sidenote, some of these pictures seem to be taken in the 80's and some of them maybe even in the 70's but that should bother no one...

To my knowledge the one with the red wall is US Marines in Somalia.

Yes, and it has now been taken into account.

To my knowledge the one with the red wall is US Marines in Somalia.

No he didnt. Its a seperate picture he used cause look at the guy's name tag, it shows the last letters of his name whereas the other picture shows the first letters of his name. No way you can flip it horizontally.

Those of you hwo have photo shop... do this.

Make a new file, that's the same size as the one with the girl
Then... copy/paste the origional onto a layer that is above the edited one with the girl
Take the layer ontop, resize it to be the same size and proportions, or very close, to the smaller, edited one.
Once you have done that, take the top layer, invert it, Ctrl-I.
Then, make the Opacity 50%, by either clicking the move/arrow button, then pressing 5, or by moving to the "Layers" tab, and typing in 50% fo the Opacity.

With that done, everything that is obviously not gray, will be your edited material, and it is fairly obvious that is IS edited.

I'd post a picture, but my ftp seems to be dead at the moment. But, I will once it is up.

You can also simply put the two layers ontop of eachother, resize them to be the same size, and hide the one ontop, and make it visible again, and do that untill you see everything that is edited.

I give the guy credit, the picture is a very well done edit, but its not perfect.

For those of you who cannot see it, I'll point out the edted parts.
1. The actual size of the picture, the Edited one (one with the girl) is actualy slightly larger.
2. The edited picture does NOT have the entire photo included.
3. The large rock by the soldier's ankle, between his boot and pants is removed on the edited version.
4. The girl, duh
5. THe barrel is removed, if you look closely, you can see smudge effects on the pants.
6. Last 2 letters on the name tag are simply copied/pasted, and the R is replaed with an O so it says "...MOOR"
7. The black object on the ground next to the soldier, seems to be the heat guard for his weapon, is removed.
The words on the tire are fliped, and roatated accordingly.
8. The soldier behind the closest one is darker.
9. THe lighting effects on the girl are poorly done, and are obviously faked.
10. THe bottom of the soldier's pants is smaller, because of the poorly done blending of the girls shirt, trying to make it look behind the man's pants.
11. The edited picture is hosted on someone's personal ftp
12. The non-edited picture is hosted on a payed for website, relating to the military.

Merik, you were fooled, and fooled twice, because you used things he set up to make it more realistic looking, as defense of your point. Pity.
