What is the infamous weapon in history? Like the previous threads I've made, this thread and poll with the intention that there are no correct answers rather to create a discussion. Add in anything that I may have missed.

Huh? Semtex man its almost like saying that dynamite is infamous. Movies make it popular but infamous?
Crossbow hmm from what i remember it was considered a weapon made by devil. But infamous... don't think so.
Ancient firearms yeah prety scary especialy when they blow up in your hands.
Napalm hmm yup scary as hell especialy when you saw it burning thru metal sheet.
NBC weapons this things are dangerous but not as easy to make, transport, store and use as media and gov say. Such weapons are not commonly used on battlefields.
Where are landmines and explosive/forced fragmentation rounds(dum dum and such) and thermobaric weapons?
btw. No offence but... Sayeret you have some sort of pollmania?

I would have added landmines and boobytraps to the list. I voted for nukes, though.

x3. Few aircraft sank as many ships, destroyed as many tanks, and inflicted terror on troops as the Ju 87 Stuka diver bomber.

Suicide bombers. The most lethal delivery system ever devised, a human mind that wants to die and it can deliver a nuclear weapon.

The most infamous weapon in the world is a man himself... his mind and ambitions (women included).
From the given list, I'ld say Nuclear Weapons.

i'd defiantly have to say kamikazis and suicide bombers. I couldnt imagine fighting an enemy that isn' t afriad to die.

where is the AK47?
i think the first real assault rifle (StG-44 was a START) should get some respect, especially with its amazing proliferation and ofcourse its reliability.
